What is an affiliate scheme?

A common online advertising strategy that earns you (the affiliate) commission for each sale made as a result of traffic that has come to us straight from your website.

How does it work?

Just place one of our ads on your website and earn commission for every sale we make to the people who clicked on that ad.

We've designed a wide range of advertising banners and text links to give you plenty of choice so you can find an advert that suits your site.

How much can I earn?

Between 5 - 6% for each sale that we make from visitors who have reached us by clicking our ad on your website.

You can earn over £95 from the sale of a single item.

Will it cost me anything?

Not a penny. You're doing us a favour by placing our advert on your website so we cover all the costs.

When and how do I get paid?

You'll be paid by cheque either weekly or quarterly, depending on which scheme you choose.

What if I send someone to you who doesn't buy anything on that visit but returns later?

Visitors are tagged with a 90-day cookie, so if they come back to make a purchase within those 90 days you'll still get the commission.

Who can become an affiliate?

Almost anyone with a website. However, we can reject your site if we think it's inappropriate.

What do I do to get started?

We offer two affiliate schemes. Just choose which scheme you'd prefer and follow the link beneath it.

Both schemes will need you to complete a short application form and decide on a unique username and password. Then simply log in and choose one of our banners or text links to put on your site.

How long will it take to set up?

Your account will be approved within 24-48 hours.

Can I see how many visitors I'm sending you?

Yes. You can view the statistics online at any time. They display your account balance and show you how many of your visitors are clicking on our ad.

Which affiliate scheme should I choose?

Our independent scheme is best for most affiliates because it offers the best commission. However Webgains is preferred by "professional affiliates" who operate a number of websites. The main advantage of Webgains is centralised tracking facilities for multiple sites and affiliate schemes with a single cheque in the post each week.
